Triangle Employment Network

If you haven't visited the Carolina Chapter's Job Bank and Employment Resources in a while, you're in for a surprise. We have reworked the entire section, making it more useful for job seekers and easier for employers to add or update their information. The new Triangle Employment Network (TEN) has two main sections that can help you find employment in the Triangle area (and also help local employers find talented techcomm-ers).

Employer Database

The first part of the TEN is a searchable directory of local companies and employment agencies. We've collected contact information for many of the Triangle's employers. The information is fully searchable by location (such as Raleigh or Cary), company type (direct hire or employment agency), and employment type (such as full-time or part-time). If you're looking for employment, the database is a great place to start.

And the best part... employers can edit their information on their own (no need to contact a chapter member or site admin!). Companies that aren't listed can easily create an account and add their listing... in just a few minutes!

Calling Local Companies

If your company is not listed in our TEN, it is a simple process to get started. Simply visit the Triangle Employment Network (http://employment.stc-carolina.org) and click the Add Your Company button. If your company is already listed, you can "claim the listing" and create an account on the site. Once you have an account on the site, you can edit your listing and post job opportunities.

Job Listings

In addition to the company database, companies can post their job openings directly to the TEN. You can even subscribe to the site and receive notification (either via RSS feed or a daily email) each time a new job is posted! We also syndicate hundreds of local job postings for you... all from a single page.

We hope that this site becomes a useful service for job seekers and employers. In the future we plan to expand the TEN to provide additional benefits for Carolina Chapter members, such as:
  • Creating a database for local independents and freelancers to advertise their services
  • Allowing members to create and update a personal profile page to act as their online resume
