Farewell: Many thanks to a valued volunteer

Robin Monday Frey, who has been doing a great job as layout editor for the Carolina Communiqué since 1998, is resigning from her volunteer job in order to move on to something new (outside STC). Thank you, Robin, on behalf of all members of the Carolina Chapter, for your valued contributions. Robin had this to say about her future plans:

“God created me with a talent for writing that has helped me earn a great living for the last 27 years. Over a year ago, I began writing a Bible study called “Sarah: The Life of Abraham Through the Eyes of His Wife,” but between work and volunteer activities, I have not made much progress.

“In my daily prayer time recently, I encountered (Isaiah 43:19). It says, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” When I read this verse, God whispered to my heart that that particular Scripture is precisely for me at this time in my life: I needed to drop all extracurricular activities and devote my attention to writing this Bible study.

“It is with sadness that I let the STC newsletter go. I have enjoyed working with each of the editors over the past four years as layout editor. When the book is finished, I hope to return to STC-Carolina — invigorated! — and contribute once again as an active volunteer in whatever capacity I am needed.”End of article.
