The STC Carolina Chapter offers one scholarship to students or professionals with an interest in learning DITA and a demonstrated financial hardship. Meet this year's winner!

Sajdah Nubee is a native of Durham, NC and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal Organizational Communications. Following school, Sajdah started her career in Clinical Research and has progressed in the industry for the past 10 years. Sajdah pursued graduate studies at North Carolina State University and received a Masters in Business Administration in 2009. Currently, she works in Clinical Operations as a Site Manager.

Sajdah started the Technical Communications Program through Duke Continuing Studies this September and plans to transition into a career in technical writing. DITA has become useful in the technical writing field, and Sajdah is eager to gain skills and practical tips for working in DITA. As she begins her new career, Sajdah looks forward to marketing herself with knowledge gained through the STC Carolina DITA workshop.
