Welcome Note from the President
By Guiseppe Getto, President, STC Carolina Chapter I'm very excited to be taking on the mantle of President for STC Carolina. As a professor who has close ties to members of industry, I have always looked for ways to create better relationships between industry and academia. I have big shoes to fill in following Christina Mayr, however, and I have greatly appreciated her mentoring as I take on this new role. As President, I hope to continue the long history of serving technical communication professionals in this region by fostering compelling programming, reaching out to new members, and solidifying the mentoring role of the organization.
