Purpose of this Newsletter

To provide a common platform for the Technical Communicators in the Triangle to share their learnings, experiences, and knowledge in the field of Technical Communication. Topics also include summaries of events and happenings in STC and STC Carolina, such as meeting recaps, competition winner summaries, as well as updates on the Society.

What can I write about?

You can write about anything in the field of Technical Communication. We would love to hear what you have to say! It may include:

• In-depth analysis of a topic in Tech Comm.
• Career advice.
• Meeting recaps from STC Meetings.
• Summary of a conference you attended.
• News items and announcements:

What’s New this year?

Technical Communication Expert AMA

From this year, every quarter, the Carolina Communique will host Technical Communicators AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions. Each quarter, we will be interviewing an experienced Technical Communicator/Content Architect/Tools Specialist/experts in the field to answer your questions in Technical Communication. Our subscribers will be notified in advance about our guest’s profile and will be given a chance to submit their questions ahead of the interview.

The answers from the AMA session will be published every quarter.

Employer Showcase (Monthly)

A documentation team from one of the corporations in the Triangle will be showcased each month with details on what they do and how the team functions.
